air fryer protein bagels

These air fryer protein bagels are a quick, healthy way to enjoy a high-protein breakfast or snack with a crispy crust and soft interior.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp almond milk (or any milk)
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into 3-4 equal parts and shape each into a ball, then poke a hole through the center to form a bagel shape.
  5. Lightly spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and place bagels inside, leaving space between each.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, slice and toast the bagels then spread with cream cheese and smoked salmon or your favorite toppings.
