Baked Jalapeno Chicken Dip

This creamy and spicy Baked Jalapeno Chicken Dip combines tender shredded chicken with melted cheeses and fresh jalapenos for a perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer.

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2-3 fresh jalapenos, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup diced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Add shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapenos, green onions, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden on top.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For an extra smoky flavor, try adding a teaspoon of smoked paprika or use pickled jalapenos instead of fresh ones.
