A delicious and easy Berry Croissant Bake that combines flaky croissants with mixed berries and a creamy custard for a perfect breakfast or dessert treat.

  • 4 large croissants, torn into pieces
  • 2 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. Place torn croissant pieces evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle mixed berries on top.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissants and berries, pressing down gently to soak the croissants.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for best results.
  6. Remove from fridge, uncover, and bake for 35–40 minutes until custard is set and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

For extra richness, add a handful of white chocolate chips before baking, or serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
