ranch dressing

Classic ranch dressing made with fresh herbs and creamy buttermilk, perfect for salads, dips, and dressings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or white vinegar

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. Add dried parsley, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; whisk to combine evenly.
  3. Stir in lemon juice or white vinegar to add brightness.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Stir before serving. Use as a salad dressing, veggie dip, or sauce for your favorite dishes.

Notes

For a thinner dressing, add additional buttermilk a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.
