  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats and protein powder.
  2. In a separate bowl, cream together softened cream cheese, applesauce, and honey/maple syrup. Mix well.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.
  5. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls.
  6. Place the protein bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or lemon zest to the mixture. You can also substitute other berries for blueberries.
