Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces salmon fillet
  • 12 ounces large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon and shrimp dry. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning evenly over both sides of the salmon and shrimp.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside with salmon.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Return salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the seafood, and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
