These Cheddar Bay Biscuit Sausage Balls are a savory twist on a classic appetizer! Combining the flavors of Red Lobster’s famous biscuits with seasoned sausage, they’re perfect for breakfast, brunch, or game day snacking.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 box (15 ounces) Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cooked and crumbled sausage, Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Add the milk and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. While the sausage balls are baking, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley in a small bowl.
  7. Once the sausage balls are out of the oven, brush them with the garlic butter mixture.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

For an extra cheesy flavor, add a tablespoon of cream cheese to the sausage mixture before baking. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or honey mustard.
