- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch dressing mix
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, or other nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing mix, green onions, and bacon.
- Mix until well combined.
- Place plastic wrap on a flat surface. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the plastic wrap and form it into a ball.
- Wrap tightly with the plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the cheeseball to firm up.
- Before serving, unwrap the cheeseball and roll it in the chopped pecans (if using), or serve as is.
- Serve with crackers, vegetables, or pretzels.
Notes
For an extra flavor boost, add a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of paprika to the cheeseball mixture. You can also use different types of cheese, such as pepper jack or Monterey Jack.
