This Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole combines tender chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese baked in a creamy sauce for a comforting and flavorful dinner everyone will love.

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups French fried onions, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, diced ham, 1 cup Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, cream of chicken soup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup Swiss cheese over the top.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
  6. Remove casserole from oven and sprinkle remaining French fried onions on top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes until onions are golden and crispy.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, serve with a side salad and garnish with fresh parsley. You can also swap Swiss cheese for Gruyère for a richer flavor.
