Chicken with Boursin Sauce

This Chicken with Boursin Sauce is a creamy, flavorful dish that’s quick and easy to prepare. Tender chicken breasts are pan-seared and smothered in a luscious Boursin cheese sauce for a restaurant-worthy meal at home.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  5. Stir in Boursin cheese, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  6. Return chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve this Chicken with Boursin Sauce over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes. For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the sauce.
