Delicious Slice of Chocolate Chip Cannoli Pie

This Chocolate Chip Cannoli Pie combines the best parts of a cannoli with the ease of a pie. A flaky pie crust filled with a sweet ricotta cheese filling and plenty of chocolate chips, it’s a dessert everyone will love.

  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese, drained
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a 9-inch pie plate with one of the pie crusts. Crimp the edges.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and cinnamon. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Top with the second pie crust. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape. Crimp the edges to seal.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
  9. Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish each slice with a sprinkle of chocolate chips and a dollop of whipped cream.
