Chocolate Mint Pie

This Chocolate Mint Pie combines rich chocolate and refreshing mint in a creamy, no-bake dessert perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted and slightly cooled
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Grated dark chocolate or chocolate curls, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it gently into the cream cheese mixture along with peppermint extract.
  4. Fold the melted chocolate into the mixture until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the filling into the chilled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and grated dark chocolate or chocolate curls.

Notes

For an extra minty touch, add a few drops of green food coloring to the filling and serve with fresh mint leaves.
