Christmas Smoked Salmon Bruschetta Wreath

This festive Christmas Smoked Salmon Bruschetta Wreath combines creamy cheese, fresh herbs, and smoked salmon on crispy baguette slices, making a stunning and delicious holiday appetizer.

  • 1 French baguette, sliced diagonally
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz smoked salmon, sliced
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh arugula or baby spinach, for garnish
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. Bake slices for 8-10 minutes until golden and crisp. Remove and let cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped dill, chopped chives, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on each toasted baguette slice.
  5. Top each slice with a folded piece of smoked salmon and a few capers.
  6. Arrange the bruschetta slices in a circular wreath shape on a large serving platter.
  7. Garnish the wreath with fresh arugula or baby spinach and cherry tomato halves for a festive touch.
  8. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For an extra festive look, drizzle a bit of honey or balsamic glaze over the wreath just before serving.
