Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and blue cheese.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
  4. Place the chopped pecans in a shallow dish.
  5. Remove the cheese mixture from the refrigerator and form it into a ball.
  6. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans, pressing lightly to ensure they adhere.
  7. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Serve with crackers, vegetables, or toasted baguette slices.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the cheese mixture. You can also use different types of nuts for the coating, such as walnuts or almonds.
