Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup (1 ½ sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • ⅔ cup whole milk
  • 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow crème
  • 1 teaspoon cotton candy flavoring
  • ½ teaspoon pink gel food coloring (optional)
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • Cotton candy sprinkles, for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved and the butter is melted.
  3. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture reaches 235°F (soft-ball stage) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the marshmallow crème, cotton candy flavoring, and pink food coloring (if using) until smooth.
  5. Quickly stir in the white chocolate chips until melted and the fudge is smooth.
  6. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Immediately sprinkle with cotton candy sprinkles.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  9. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift the fudge from the pan. Cut into squares and serve.

Notes

For an extra touch of cotton candy flavor, swirl a small amount of melted cotton candy flavored candy melts on top before adding sprinkles.
