Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath on festive holiday table

This Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath is a festive and delicious appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. Flaky crescent dough is filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, then baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk or water
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll both packages of crescent roll dough. Separate each package into 8 triangles.
  3. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping slightly in the center and the pointed ends facing outward.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cubed brie and cranberry sauce. If desired, add chopped pecans or walnuts.
  5. Spoon the brie and cranberry mixture evenly over the wide ends of the crescent dough triangles.
  6. Bring the pointed ends of the triangles up and over the filling, tucking them under the center ring of dough to form a wreath shape.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk (or water). Brush the egg wash over the entire wreath.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the wreath is golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh rosemary sprigs and dust with powdered sugar, if desired.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a high-quality brie cheese. You can also add a drizzle of honey after baking for extra sweetness.
