Cranberry Jalapeno Dip

A vibrant and spicy cranberry jalapeno dip that perfectly blends tartness with heat, making it an ideal appetizer or party snack.

  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the fresh cranberries, jalapeno, red onion, honey, lime juice, and salt.
  2. Pulse until the mixture is finely chopped but still slightly chunky.
  3. Transfer the cranberry mixture to a bowl and fold in the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  4. Stir in the chopped cilantro for freshness.
  5. Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to blend flavors.
  6. Serve cold with crackers, tortilla chips, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For extra creaminess, try adding a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt. This dip also pairs wonderfully with toasted baguette slices.
