Delicious Cranberry Meatballs Appetizer

These sweet and savory cranberry meatballs are the perfect appetizer or main course for any holiday gathering. They’re easy to make and packed with flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  5. Place meatballs in a baking dish. Pour cranberry sauce mixture over meatballs.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve these cranberry meatballs over rice or mashed potatoes for a complete meal. You can also use ground turkey or chicken instead of ground beef.
