creamy beef pasta

This creamy beef pasta combines tender ground beef with a luscious, cheesy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta for a comforting and satisfying meal that’s easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour in beef broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Stir until the cheese melts and sauce is creamy.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat with the sauce.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, add a pinch of red pepper flakes while cooking the beef or serve with a side of garlic bread.
