Caesar Dressing

Classic Caesar dressing with a creamy texture and tangy, savory flavors, perfect for salads or as a dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic and chopped anchovy fillets, mixing to form a paste.
  2. Add the Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce to the paste and whisk until combined.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise and grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  4. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the dressing.
  5. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  6. Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt. Serve over romaine lettuce with croutons and additional Parmesan for a classic Caesar salad.
