Peanut Sauce

A creamy and flavorful peanut sauce perfect for drizzling over grilled meats, dipping spring rolls, or tossing with noodles for a quick and delicious meal.

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm water (to thin)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon sriracha or chili garlic sauce for heat

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and toasted sesame oil until smooth.
  2. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, stirring to combine.
  3. Gradually whisk in warm water, starting with 1/4 cup, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  4. If you like a spicy kick, stir in sriracha or chili garlic sauce.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more soy sauce for saltiness or honey for sweetness.

Notes

Serve this peanut sauce chilled or at room temperature with grilled chicken, fresh spring rolls, or as a dressing for noodle salads.
