  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the frozen tater tots with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the tots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure not to overcrowd.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can broil the tots for 2-3 minutes at the end, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
