This Crockpot Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Chicken is a comforting, cheesy, and easy slow-cooker meal perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken breasts cooked with fresh broccoli and sharp cheddar cheese create a rich and creamy dish everyone will love.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  4. Cover with fresh broccoli florets on top of the chicken and sauce.
  5. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the broccoli and chicken. Cover and allow cheese to melt.
  7. Stir gently before serving to combine the chicken, broccoli, and cheesy sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with cooked rice or mashed potatoes to soak up the creamy sauce. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
