Ramen Noodle Soup

A comforting bowl of traditional Japanese ramen featuring savory broth, tender noodles, and flavorful toppings, perfect for a satisfying meal any day.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 packs of ramen noodles
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 soft-boiled egg (optional)
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add soy sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  5. Cook ramen noodles separately according to package instructions, then drain.
  6. Add baby spinach to the simmering broth and cook until wilted, about 1 minute.
  7. Divide noodles into serving bowls and ladle hot broth with vegetables over the top.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and a soft-boiled egg if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra richness, add a splash of miso paste to the broth or top with sliced pork belly for an authentic experience.
