This baked cheeseburger recipe combines juicy ground beef with melted cheese and classic toppings for an easy, comforting meal perfect for any night of the week.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves (optional)
  • Tomato slices (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, diced onions, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the beef mixture into four equal patties and place them in a baking dish.
  4. Bake the patties for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over each patty.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Toast hamburger buns if desired.
  8. Assemble the cheeseburgers by placing the baked patties on the buns, then top with pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices as desired.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
