Garlic Aioli Sauce

A creamy and flavorful garlic aioli sauce perfect for dipping or spreading, combining fresh garlic with rich olive oil and mayonnaise.

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until combined.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the mixture and create a creamy texture.
  3. Stir in the mayonnaise until well incorporated.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a spicier twist, add a pinch of smoked paprika or cayenne pepper to the aioli before refrigerating.
