Freshly prepared gluten-free Greek yogurt bagels on a clean white plate

These gluten-free Greek yogurt bagels are soft, chewy, and easy to make, perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/4 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 egg white, beaten (for brushing)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt and honey/maple syrup to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. It should be slightly sticky but manageable; add a bit more flour if too sticky.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each into a ball. Poke a hole through the center of each ball and gently shape into bagels.
  5. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet and brush each with beaten egg white.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or toasted.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding minced garlic or dried herbs to the dough before baking, or serve with cream cheese and fresh veggies.
