Goat Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates

Sweet dates stuffed with tangy goat cheese and wrapped in crispy bacon create the perfect savory-sweet appetizer that’s easy to make and sure to impress.

  • 20 Medjool dates, pitted
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 10 slices bacon, cut in half
  • Toothpicks for securing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each date lengthwise on one side to create an opening, remove the pit if not already pitted.
  3. Fill each date with about one teaspoon of goat cheese.
  4. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is crispy and browned.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes

For an extra touch, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving or add a small almond inside each date along with the goat cheese for additional crunch.
