  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Halloween-themed frosting and sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 12-inch pizza pan or round cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  7. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  9. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Frost with Halloween-themed frosting and decorate with sprinkles.
  11. Slice and serve!
