Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe

This homemade Caesar salad dressing is rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Made with simple ingredients, it’s so much better than store-bought!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 anchovy fillets, minced (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. If using, add the minced anchovy fillets and stir to incorporate.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking constantly to emulsify the dressing.
  4. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

For a smoother dressing, use an immersion blender or regular blender to combine the ingredients. If you don’t have anchovies, you can substitute a pinch of fish sauce for a similar umami flavor.
