Honey Garlic Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry

This Honey Garlic Ground Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry is a quick and flavorful weeknight meal combining savory ground beef with crisp broccoli in a sweet and garlicky sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, water, cornstarch, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the beef and broccoli mixture. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding sliced green onions or a splash of rice vinegar. Serve over steamed jasmine rice or cauliflower rice for a low-carb option.
