  • 2 (14.75 ounce) cans creamed corn
  • 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine creamed corn, whole kernel corn, sour cream, cheddar cheese, melted butter, honey, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, sprinkle a bit more cheddar cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking. You can also add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
