These Honey Sriracha Chicken Rice Bowls combine sweet and spicy flavors with tender chicken served over fluffy rice for a quick, satisfying meal.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, and soy sauce to make the sauce.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. Pour the honey sriracha sauce over the chicken in the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes, coating the chicken.
  6. Remove chicken from skillet and slice into strips.
  7. Divide cooked rice into bowls. Top with steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and sliced chicken.
  8. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the skillet over the bowls.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add chopped peanuts or cashews on top, or swap white rice for brown rice or cauliflower rice for a healthier twist.
