Instant Noodles with Egg Butter Garlic

A quick and flavorful twist on classic instant noodles, enriched with creamy butter, fragrant garlic, and a perfectly cooked egg for a comforting meal.

  • 1 packet instant noodles
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small pot.
  2. Add the instant noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually 2-3 minutes.
  3. While noodles are cooking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic to the butter and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Push the garlic butter to the side and crack the egg into the skillet, cooking it sunny-side up or to your preference.
  6. Drain the noodles and add them to the skillet, tossing to coat them evenly with the garlic butter.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve the noodles topped with the cooked egg and garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a splash of soy sauce or chili flakes before serving.
