Little Smokies wrapped in buttery crescent rolls make for an easy, crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 package little smokies sausages (14 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  3. If desired, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on each triangle.
  4. Place one little smokie at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up toward the point, sealing the edges.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash.
  6. Brush the egg wash over each wrapped smokie to ensure golden browning.
  7. Place the wrapped smokies on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try serving with honey mustard or barbecue sauce for dipping. These also make great party finger foods!
