Elevate your dessert game with this Luxe Cranberry Tiramisu! Layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers are intertwined with a creamy mascarpone filling and a tangy cranberry compote for a festive and unforgettable treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup cranberry liqueur (such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 16 oz mascarpone cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (12-ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for cranberry compote)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee and cranberry liqueur. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the mixture, just enough to moisten them, and arrange in a single layer in the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly thickened.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, and orange zest. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the compote has thickened slightly. Let cool completely.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Top with half of the cranberry compote.
  5. Repeat layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and cranberry compote.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Before serving, dust generously with cocoa powder.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish with fresh cranberries and orange zest before serving.
