Mint Oreo Parfaits

Refreshing and indulgent Mint Oreo Parfaits combine creamy mint mousse with crunchy Oreo cookie layers for an easy, no-bake dessert perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a sealed bag and crush them into coarse crumbs using a rolling pin. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined. Add a few drops of green food coloring if desired for a minty green color.
  5. In serving glasses, layer crushed Oreo cookies followed by the mint mousse mixture. Repeat layers until the glass is filled.
  6. Top each parfait with a sprinkle of crushed Oreos and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  7. Chill the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For an extra minty kick, add a layer of crushed Andes mints between the Oreo and mousse layers or substitute peppermint extract with fresh mint puree.
