Delight in these rich and creamy No-Bake Red Velvet Snowball Truffles, perfect for festive gatherings or a sweet treat anytime. These bite-sized desserts combine classic red velvet flavors with a snowy, powdered sugar coating for a melt-in-your-mouth experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box red velvet cake mix (dry)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar, divided
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, melted (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, softened cream cheese, butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until a smooth, firm dough forms.
  2. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  4. Once chilled, roll each ball in powdered sugar to create a snowball effect. For an extra touch, optionally dip the truffles in melted white chocolate before rolling in powdered sugar.
  5. Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet and chill for another 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

For a festive look, try rolling some truffles in cocoa powder or red sanding sugar instead of powdered sugar.
