These Puff Pastry Brie Bites are a simple yet elegant appetizer perfect for any occasion. Flaky puff pastry cups filled with creamy brie and a touch of sweetness make for an irresistible bite.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves (such as apricot or fig)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into 2-inch squares.
  5. Gently press each square into the mini muffin tin.
  6. Place a cube of brie cheese into each puff pastry cup.
  7. Top with a small spoonful of fruit preserves.
  8. If desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  9. Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm for the best flavor. You can also drizzle with honey after baking for added sweetness.
