Freshly prepared Strawberry Matcha Latte

A refreshing and vibrant Strawberry Matcha Latte that perfectly blends the earthy flavor of matcha with the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1-2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Place the strawberries in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until fully dissolved and frothy.
  3. Heat the milk in a saucepan or microwave until warm but not boiling.
  4. Pour the blended strawberries into a glass, add the sweetener if using, and stir well.
  5. Pour in the warmed milk, then gently add the whisked matcha on top.
  6. Stir lightly before drinking or garnish with a strawberry slice.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use full-fat milk or oat milk and try serving over ice for a refreshing iced version.
