Sweet Chili Garlic Salmon

This Sweet Chili Garlic Salmon is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring tender salmon fillets glazed with a vibrant sweet chili and garlic sauce, perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, garlic, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, sesame oil, and grated ginger.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the sweet chili garlic mixture evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with steamed jasmine rice and sautéed vegetables. You can also broil the salmon for 2-3 minutes at the end for a caramelized glaze.
